The second annual Pumpkin Fest was held this past weekend from 11am-1pm on the church lawn. There were over 400 pumpkins, hundreds of gourds and many fall treats to be gobbled up. Many of the pumpkin hunters enjoyed the treats after searching for just the right pumpkin. Thanks to the Wurdells, we also had two goats that the children (and adults) enjoyed feeding and petting. With the addition of some fantastic road side sign wavers we invited passer-byers into the parking lot with smiles of encouragement. After all was done there were only a dozen sad pumpkins left. God blessed us with fantastic weather, phenomenal help, and just the right amount of people to reach out to. We look forward to next October and invite anyone to join in the fun.
Enjoy some pictures from the event!
