Recently Pr. Todd shared with us about weariness in considering Philippians 3:1-11. When we are weary, many things go out of focus…attitudes, emotions, view of circumstances, and so on. Our weariness impacts our awareness. Watch this and we’ll catch up below:
There are many things we can miss in life. It takes work…and, often times, community (see Leah’s post for more on this) to put your hope in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and see His hand…in that phrase from the Bible (read many times before) that speaks to you in your time of greatest need or the friend who calls unexpectedly or the prayer that is graciously answered…and your strength will be renewed.
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
