Upcoming Events

• Youth people are an integral part of the ministry at First Covenant. The purpose of our youth ministry is for youth to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, develop relationships with other Christians, to grow in their faith, to become witnesses for Jesus Christ, and to increase the application of Christian principles in their everyday life. The following opportunities are available for youth:
  • Middle School:
    Wed. 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. = Confirmation
    Sun. 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. = Sunday School
    Once a month = extra event advertised in a newsletter, in the bulletin, during youth meetings, or by separate letter.
  • Senior High:
    Wed. 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. = Youth Band Practice
    6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. = Youth Group
    Sun. 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. = Sunday School
    Once a month = extra event advertised in a newsletter, in the bulletin, during youth meetings, or by separate letter.
• CHIC:
  The Evangelical Covenant denomination holds a large student conference every 3 years called CHIC (Covenant High in Christ). The next CHIC conference will be in July, 2012. Students who are currently in grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 are eligible to attend.
• Summer Camps:
  We encourage students to participate in summer camp and winter retreat programs at Lake Beauty Bible Camp. The camp is located in central Minnesota and has week-long summer ministries for students from 2nd grade to 12th grade. They also hold family weekend camps, retreats, leadership experiences, and are available for outside groups. Check it out at www.lbbc.com.
• Souled Out:
  The youth pastors/youth leaders of River Falls have teamed up and formed an organization called Souled Out.
  Souled Out is a Christ-centered fellowship of youth ministries supporting one another and working together to reach students with God's love.
  We sponsor quarterly events designed to reach River Falls youth in middle and high school with food, fun, and fellowship around a Christian message.
