Begun over a hundred years ago, the Evangelical Covenant denomination is composed of over 630 congregations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our tradition emphasizes the building of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ stressing worship, prayer, teaching & studying of the Scriptures, conversion and outreach to our local and worldwide communities.

Rather than focusing on a creed, worship style, or theological position, what unites us is our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Although our congregations are autonomous (each calls its own pastors, owns its own property, and decides how its money is spent), we support a worldwide denominational ministry of church planting and education that includes over 10 overseas mission fields.
